Neal's Yard Remedies Rejuvenating Frankincense Refining Cleanser

Neal's Yard Remedies Rejuvenating Frankincense Refining Cleanser - £20.00

For me it is so important to have a quality cleanser in my daily skin care routine, preferably made with as many natural ingredients as possible. My skin has become rather sensitive over the past year and I try to avoid harsh chemicals and preservatives when I can. Neal's Yard Remedies are known for their use of essential oils and plant extracts in all their products, whether it be skincare, bath treatments or body care.

Recently I have been testing out the Rejuvenating Frankincense Refining Cleanser as part of my night time routine. First, I wash my face with my regular facial wash then use this to remove any excess make up and dirt. The concept of this is typical to most hot cloth cleansers, in which you apply the product onto dry skin then wipe away with a warm, damp muslin cloth. Skin is left feeling wonderfully soft and moisturised every time. This is perfect for an at home pamper session, the aroma of Frankincense and the nourishment of cocoa butter is truly relaxing.

Dior Vernis Nail Polish

Dior Vernis Nail Polish - £19 each

Recently I was given these Dior nail polishes in three shades of pink. Admittedly I don't own many high end brands in my polish collection and these are beautiful new additions. My favourite of the trio is 'Majesty' which is a peachy, coral colour just perfect for the Spring to Summer transition. I love to wear this particular shade when I have caught some sun so I am sure to get great use out of this. 'Wonderland' is a true Barbie pink, which isn't my usual preference of nail colour but needless to say will look great worn over the next few months.'Muguet' is an off-white shade with a rosy tint, great used to create a French manicure. These polishes apply effortlessly and give a lovely even finish with 2-3 coats. I can't say these have the most durable formula as I did start to notice chipping by the third day which is slightly disappointing considering the price they sell at.

Red Fun
Fizzbanger Bath Bomb
Brightside Bubble Bar
Granny Takes a Dip Bath Bomb
Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb (not pictured)

Last week I celebrated my 25th birthday and as with every year, Lush goodies were on the top of my wishlist! I was kindly gifted this tin of bath time beauty by my Mum, filled with colourful bath bombs and bubble bars - some I have not ever used before! This gift shouts out happiness with it's bright selection of Lush favourites and it's vibrant, zesty scent. With 6 products to choose from I have been spoilt for choice and I am certainly excited to try each of them. I have already used the 'Dragon's Egg' bath bomb which turned my bath into a whirl of colour with a crack of popping candy!

MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy

MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy - £15.50

The Kylie Jenner lip craze is still on the horizon, with many of us trying to imitate those over lined lips and creating that signature lip colour. It's been revealed that the culprits for her plump pout are MAC pencil lip liners in 'Soar' and 'Whirl' as well as MAC's 'Velvet Teddy' matte lipstick which at last I have got my hands on! Velvet Teddy has been selling out in stores and online since word got and for month's I have been trying to find the perfect dupe but they have either been too peachy or too pink. After sitting on the fence I caved in and knew that I had to try this lipstick for myself once and for all.
