Dove Colour Radiance leave-in Conditioning Spray

Dove Colour Radiance leave-in Conditioning Spray - £3.59

After washing my hair I always apply a conditioning spray for extra care and treatment. I absolutely love Dove's Intensive Repair and Nourishing Oil Care leave-in conditioning sprays, however they aren't always available in my local Boots store so this time I picked up this one for colour radiance. As you may know  I have dipped dyed my hair so it only made sense to buy something specifically suited for coloured hair. This spray maintains vibrancy whilst ensuring long lasting shine. It has a light weight consistency and leaves my locks smoother and more manageable. Since using this product I have had more compliments on my hair than usual, one even from beauty YouTuber Sabrina, who I had the pleasure of meeting yesterday!

My Beauty Space & Storage

I'm always interested to know how beauty gurus keep their make up organised, I often find inspiration from other bloggers or I create little ideas myself. Take a look at my personal beauty space and storage...

Fitness Beauty Do's and Don'ts

We all have our own make up and skin care routines but recently I have had to introduce a new one that revolves around fitness. A month ago I started a dance class and soon discovered what essentials I needed to have at hand and all the Do's and Don'ts when it comes to beauty.

DO keep your hair off your face. Exercise works up a sweat and you certainly don't want your hair to soak it all up, make sure to keep a hair tie around your wrist for you to use should you need to. Also if like me you have a side or full fringe, it is a good idea to clip it up to avoid it sitting on your clammy brow.

DON'T wear make up! Seriously. A full face of make up whilst working out is not good for your skin, heavy foundations and powders will clog up pores. Pores open up during exercise to allow your skin to breathe and sweat, make up will fill these open pores causing potential breakouts. CC creams and BB creams are no exception!

DO take deodorant. Obviously no one smells their best after a work out so make sure you have one in your bag to use before and/or after your session.

DON'T forget to bring water. Keeping hydrated is essential and it only makes sense to have water at reach when you exercise. You lose body water mass through sweating so to avoid dehydration you should always take a bottle with you.

DO refresh your skin with a facial water mist. There may not always be an opportunity to wash your face so keeping a facial mist in your bag will come in handy. These will instantly cool your face and leave your skin feeling much more revived.

DON'T put up with sweat. I have found dancing makes me sweat places I never thought I could! Using a small flannel really helps especially for dabbing my face, neck and cleavage.

DO refresh your hair. Again you might not always have the opportunity to shower or freshen up so I would recommend to take a dry shampoo to remove excess sweat and give a fresh boost to your locks.

Benefit Lookin' to Rock Rita

Benefit Lookin' to Rock Rita - £17.20 on

Introducing Rita. My newest addition to my fragrance collection. Benefit is one of my all time favourite cosmetic brands but for no particular reason I have not ever considered to try their perfumes. I came across 'Lookin' to Rock Rita' whilst browsing on Click Fragrance and I instantly knew I had to have it. Honestly it was the top note of coconut that won me over, coconut is truly my weakness, however this also has a blend of freesia, sandalwood, hyacinth and Brazilian rosewood. This is a true Summer scent and comes into close comparison with Estee Lauder's 'Bronze Goddess', although Rita has a more distinctive zest of lemon. As this was a gift set I also received a silky body lotion which has a really light, gentle consistency.

You can find this fragrance set and more Benefit products at discounted prices at Click Fragrance!

Would You Rather.. TAG

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
As much as I love my palettes, I feel that mascara, eyeliner and lipstick are staples in my make up collection so I'd be lost without them.

2. Would you rather chop all of your hair off or never be able to cut it again?
It has taken forever for my hair to grow to it's current length so the idea of chopping it all off would be a nightmare!

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
A coral cheek suits my skin tone much more than pink, I never usually opt for blush but if I do I settle for peachy tones.

4. If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Definitely clothes! As much as I love beauty, obviously, updating my wardrobe would be a dream.

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Lipstick as eyeliner. There's so much more choice of shades and you could add a real pop of colour to the eyes.

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
I've never been to Sephora so I'm going to have to choose MAC.

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
I don't experiment with my eyes as much as I should so it'd probably be no problem for me to use one eye shadow colour..

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
This seems like and impossible question but if I had to I'd say Summer clothes in Winter, that way I'd feel like I'm brightening up a dull gloomy day and I can't think of anything worse than wearing thick woolly jumpers in the hot sun.

9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
I find that darker shades on my nails makes me look washed out so I'd have to choose bright nails. There are plenty of colours that are wearable for all seasons, especially red which is so versatile.

10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip colour or favourite eye product?
I don't really have one particular favourite for either but out of the two I'd give up my favourite lip colour, that way I'd be more encouraged to experiment more with other shades.

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or messy bun?
A 'messy' bun is an understatement when it comes to my hair, with it being so long it ends up looking like a birds nest so a ponytail would definitely be much more presentable.

12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never use lipgloss, I rarely ever wear the stuff anyway!

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Must it be a sharpie? Either way I would look completely ridiculous but I think it would be more humiliating to have to draw them on with a marker pen. I would just make sure I had a fringe to conceal the fact I have no eye brows.

14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Honestly, as bad as it sounds, I couldn't go without make up so I'd be willing to give up painting my nails.

Why not take the 'Would You Rather' TAG?
